This quiz is based on the AHA Women and Heart Disease guidelines. Please note, other risk factors can also contribute to heart disease, including (but not limited to) sleep disturbance – especially sleep apnea resulting in intermittent low levels of oxygen in the blood, arrhythmia, an adverse reaction to a medicine, inflammation, increased platelet stickiness with increased clotting, vessel spasm, and any other hemodynamic variable that would contribute to a lack of blood flow to the heart muscle.
